The official documentary of the 2013 Tarawera Ultramarathon, a 100K run through the trails of New Zealand. This year's race was won by American Sage Canaday, who finished in 8:53:54 (that's an 8:35/mile pace, for 62 miles, which is nuts).
Daniel Lieberman, the Professor of Biological Sciences at Harvard, joined The Colbert Report Thursday night to "explain that human beings are among the best long-distance runners in the world because they're good at sweating."
Registration for the Third B.A.A. 10K closed May 8 at 11:15 p.m. ET when the field size maximum was reached (6500 entrants). Thank you for all of the support, especially those who ran on April 15 and are coming back for this event (the 10K) on June 23. With registration complete in approximately 13 hours, we are grateful to the running community and locals who entered the race. Boston Strong! Boston Stands As One!
