Weekly Training Rundown Oct 29 - Nov 4

Über-storm Sandy threw a big wet wrench into a lot of people's plans this past week. We in DC were lucky enough to avoid the majority of the storm. Still, it effected my running to a small extent. How'd you manage this past week?

  • Tuesday: 7 miles (8:44 pace). First run after the storm, felt good to get out of the house and get some miles in.
  • Thursday: 5 miles (8:47). Don't really remember this one so well. Obviously nothing stuck out as an issue.
  • Saturday: Off, went to a football match in Morgantown. Drank lots of water on the way home.
  • Sunday: 18 miles (9:32 pace). Fantastic run, all around. This is the confidence-builder that I needed.

This week: 5/7/10/5. Two PT sessions scheduled. Race is getting close.
