Denny is running the Tobacco Road Half Marathon this weekend, and I'm running the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon Saturday, and we've both got some uncertainty about being prepared and training. (Did you read Denny's piece on it? You should, it's good!) Turns out, it's a pretty common concern:

Course was brutally hilly. 30-40 knot wind gusts. Horizontal, biting snow in one section. Unofficial results puts my finish time at 4:17, good enough for 7th place. Still trying to thaw out my fingers."
