Boston Marathon 2014: Finish line installed on Boylston Street

The world famous finish line of the Boston Marathon has been installed -- and updated -- for next week's 118th running.

On Monday, just a week before the 118th running of the Boston Marathon, and a day from the one-year remembrance of 2013's tragic events, crews installed the finish line.

DGI-Invisuals is a Boston-based large format digital printer.

The 26.2-mile mark stretches across Boylston Street, just outside the Boston Public Library (between Exeter and Dartmouth streets, in downtown Boston).

This year's finish line also features a special tribute.

Earlier this week, the finish line on Boylston St. was the site of a Sports Illustrated "Boston Strong" photo shoot, with the picture to appear on the cover of the magazine that hits newsstands on Wednesday. SI invited all Bostonians to be a part of the shoot, which took place Saturday morning.

The 2014 Boston Marathon is set to be run on Monday, April 21.
