Hastings Takes Paris 400m

Thanks to an uncharacteristic conservative start, Natasha Hastings was able to run strong into the final stretch and take down Jamaican National Champ, Stephenie Ann McPherson. Hastings finished in a time of 50.08 in relatively cool conditions. McPherson, who is the current Diamond league leader, ran 50.33 which was good enough to run well clear of her compatriot Christine Day.

McPherson’s lead shrunk to just 3 points over Hastings with 1 more competition remaining in the Diamond League season over 400m.
