The Olympic Trials begin today in Eugene, Oregon.

With race walking officially in the books, the Olympic Trials begin in earnest today.

TV/Streaming Options

Tonight’s action is mostly available online via NBC. From 7-9 pm EST, the coverage will be hosted exclusively online and from 9-10 pm, coverage will appear on your very own home television set by means of NBC.

2:00 pm: Men’s Shotput Qualifying

6:30 pm: Opening Ceremony

7:15 pm: Men’s 800m First Round

7:15 pm: Women’s High Jump Qualifying

7:45 pm: Women’s 800m First Round

7:50 pm: Women’s Discus Qualifying

8:10 pm: Women’s Long Jump Qualifying

8:15 pm: Men’s 400m First Round

8:40 pm: Men’s Shotput Final

8:45 pm: Women’s 400m First Round

(NBC Television Coverage Begins)

9:15 pm: Men’s 10,000m Final

The obvious highlights are the first rounds of the 800m—Brandon Kidder has a tough path to the semifinals—and, of course, the men’s 10k final (check out Jeff Duncan’s preview coming out this afternoon).
